Hello! I hope you are doing well. It has been a busy past couple of months. I have recently obtained the SSCP and Project + cert since my last post. My next class will be Python based so I have went back to using Mimo.org(you can download the free mobile app which I have used for years) as well DataCamp.com(get it free with your student email!) and Codex.io(free as well!), all great programming/computer science resources to get a head start on the material. Hopefully, between all of these, I will pass the class fairly quickly.
With my focus on Python and my wish to continue working on my Active Directory project, I am going to skip the THM advent event this year. Once I get done with my Python class I will only have 5 more classes until I obtain my WGU degree so that is my main priority. THM will be there next year once I start studying for PenTest+.
Update: I meant to post this blog post 2 weeks ago but forgot…lol. Anyways, I am now mainly focusing on studying Python through w3schools. I used it for SQL and it was very valuable. While I follow along, I have installed Python to my Windows OS and am following w3school with Visual Studio Code. This has been paramount in my learning of Python and I definitely recommend this route if you choose to pursue any coding language!
