With recently finishing the SOCL1 learning path, I have taken a small break from THM and am just doing easier rooms for now. I will get back in the swing of things in a couple of days. I’ve started to do some coding at boot.dev with the Back-end Developer Path. boot.dev is a great site! I have finished the free trial and have really enjoyed it and personally feel like it has taught my Python concepts better than anything I have taken so far. I will admit, the 50$ a month price point is steep atm but it definitely seems worth it if you can swing that. I believe I will head over to freecodecamp and start their python courses in the meantime. The dream would be going to DevSecOps one day!

I also started thinking of going back to hackthebox now that I feel like my skills have improved over the last year(eyeballing the CJCA cert!). I have started to look into other certs/path as well, such as Microsoft learning. I realized I have Active Directory/Microsoft knowledge but have nothing to show for it(outside of what I do in THM labs), so that will by my next thing I blog about! I also am eyeballing their certs as well. I see a lot of jobs note AD, Entra ID, Azure, etc. so I feel like that will help me stand out.
