I have completed the last part of my capstone, and unofficially, I am done with my bachelor’s degree! I am now waiting for it to complete the approval process, and then it will be official! I know what I want to do to stand out from the crowd who have obtained the same or similar degree: continue growing my skills. I have been pleased with the output of blog entries I have added to my site recently. I have been having fun posting them and enjoy the process of taking notes and snippets while I walk through the labs. Working on my capstone gave me that writing bug that I used to have a few years ago, and I really enjoy doing this.
My next goal is to complete the SOC Level 1 path and certification, and to write a blog post for every room on the path, except for the first, which will cover what a SOC is and what is expected of a junior associate analyst. If you visit https://www.tryhackme.com/hacktivities, you will see the various paths available. Before you tackle the more challenging paths, I highly recommend completing the pre-security and Cyber 101 paths. I just completed the Cyber 101 path, and it was excellent material!

I’m excited to share this journey on my blog, and I hope they aid and help others who are starting their Blue Team Journey!
